Dear all, I've done a search and tried other means to find out the part number for the above, but failed...... Would anyone help? it's the tiny sump plug which uses an allen key I'm after. does anyone have the part number as mine has been rounded off. Many thanks Kate

When you eventually get it off I always put a light smear of copper ease on the contact points so it isn't so likely to 'stick'......doesn't always work but gives you a better chance of it not happening again. Apart from that just do what njh2 suggest and it will eventually come off.

Worth checking the connections at the rear of the alternator I had same symptoms and I solved it by remaking the thin single wire spade connector into the 'W' connection at the rear of the alt......pretty sure it was 'W'
