    Before you go to the trouble check all the earths around the alarm ecu and around the footwells, clean them up and grease/oil them. I've had the same trouble with mine in the past and this solved my problem Just seen how old this thread is.......probably no help by now

    Thanks for replying Eightinavee...sounds like I have more than one problem here. No it doesn't lock/unlock on the fobs and I tried the EKA code entry procedure last night and it didn't work...as you suggest. Looks like I need to reconnect the BBUS and start a fresh. Cheers I haven't got time...

    no sure if the alloys would fit and even if they did I seem to remember that they aren't rated for the weight of a 110...but hopefully someone will be along later to confirm if you haven't rear discs the axles off the disco would allow you to achieve this

    Thanks everyone Ok, looks like it's short and maybe they ordered the wrong parts....well it's all welded up now so I'll borrow a mig and cobble something together. Just goes to show what can happen if you don't do it yourself.....barstewards!

    Found some old photos of 'Pricilla' before she was sent off to be welded and I have a snealing suspicion the floor has been welded up short somehow....really weird
