ive got a 110 single cab.You can out tonnes of stuff in the back, ride id more comftable than my 90.empty and loaded.Off road abilty is awsome. They are a tad long for my likeing tho.
i used 2pack on my 110.With a good mask on a nice day.Havnt died yet.
2 pack, thinners and hardner.Jobs a goodun.I just flattened off the old paintwork and sprayed etching primer onto any corroded patches(afyter rubbing and filling them)
Personally i would go for BFG'S.Best tyred ever invented..But if you dont go on the road much Simex, insa's,recips and the like are spot on.
P.s i have a set of 4 Recips 265/75x15 in black 8-spokes.3/4 tread left for sale.
they seem a little pricey. There was a Factory black 1995 300tdi on there a little while back in tatty cond.£8k for it.Even if it is in tatty Factory black still?????
i got knicked for having 8 spots wired to hi-beam!.Apparntly its illgeal. They wouldnt belive me when i said i didnt use them on the road..even if the was someone coming towards me that i didnt like!.
Safari or mantec.Mantecs new one is quite nice!..I hear its quite good!.Aproved by LR apparntly.Them paddock "specials" are about as water tight as the titanic.Wouldnt go there unless youve got ££ to keep re-builing you engine!
I would advise Warn spots or genuine Lr.Warn look the part and have a good pattern,Genuine Lr are just fantastic, with 100w bulbs in.If your feeling really fancy you could go for Lihtforce.I hear they are good but iver never had any.
Hi there mate,I would go with nfu.
Im 17 and to insure my 1995 defender 90 300tdi with mods is £950 fully comp with my own policy.£200 exess. They seem to be fairly cheap.I was suprised when i insured my 2002 Freelander commercial td4.It was only £1100 which i thought was a bargain considering...
I had the same problem with my 90 300tdi..And also when i got to dead on 50mph the whole landy shook like hell...Was curious oneday with the tryes..Swapped the fronts with the rears..Never had a shake since. Bfgoodrich mud terrains. I would try that and see if you have any luck
i have a normall 110 one and the hi-cap one needs a front. The normall 110 one doesnt have a front it just has a seal that pushes up to the truckcab.Plus the hi-cap one is wider and longer. They are about £300 new.I found it was alot easier just to order one from ifor
thanks..Thats what i done but the contatcs didnt like it..Relay was all working fine:mad: Must be just bad luck for me!..You had any trouble with yours?
Hi,
i would also wire them up to a switch as my highbeam couldnt cope with 4 55watt spots and 2 150watt spots,It caused no end of problems and went rough a few stalks. Now they are on a switch i have had no trouble
