right so far so good :doh:, first stupid question -- the 2 black rubber pipes !! going in to the bulkhead , is it them i join together. second stupid question -- the holes left over coming out of the bulkhead, what needs doing with those. thanks

thanks Bud -- tell me which side the hoses are ie looking from the front of the car . do you know the diameter , would copper plumbing pipe be ok ( if i can shape it ). cheers

noticed a funny smell with in the car first , then noticed the right hand foot well damp . checked my coolant and it was a little low , so topped it up , next day both footwells are wet through. if i put the heaters on the windows steam up instantly . been reading some past posts and cant see...

i have exact same prob , on my 96 landy . charged it over night , but still the same , does this mean i need a new one:confused:

cheers every one for all the advice you was spot on it was the starter burnt out and caused by a sticking ignition switch , which was a bit gritty . new starter fitted and the switch cleaned up , running well for a while fingers crossed:D thanks again

I am going to get recovery out tomorrow when garages open etc, Just really worried that other damage might be done ie flywheel etc!! Anyone know if that is likely??

Could you tell me what would happen if I were to jump start it off another car? Am I going to cause any more damage to the rest of my motor? Any Ideas why this has occured?

thinking about it the power in the battery as been dipping abit especially on start up when cold , almost didnt start a few times couple of days ago . will this effect the running in anyway or just the starting what do you recommend a new batt and a new starter. i wonder if i could jump...
