    SRS Airbag Fault

Thanks JohnnyCrash and Datatek. I have wiggled the yellow wire but no joy. I will have a look behind the steering wheel and binnacle tomorrow. The airbag module was replaced with a used module last year to cure the same problem.

    SRS Airbag Fault

I have SRS/AIRBAG FAULT showing on my 1999 P38. I have used my Faultmate FCR and got fault code 06008 'drivers airbag measures open circuit - permanent' Does this mean it needs a replacement drivers airbag? Thanks for any advice.....

    Engine cutting out

Had system checked by BRC installer today. Turned out to be a bad (loose) earth connection. Tightened and both solenoids replaced for £50. Happy with that :) Thanks for your help.

    Engine cutting out

Thanks again Saint.V8, I forgot to mention that the relay was replaced a couple of months ago. The engine always re-starts immediately, but sometimes when it switches back over to LPG it dies again but this not always the case. What you state makes a lot of sense, I'll get the solenoid...

    Engine cutting out

Thanks Saint.V8, If it has a bad solenoid would the hitting a pothole or rutting situation 'trigger' the system to cut out? I previously had a situation where the empty LPG tank warning buzzer was sounding intermittently even when the tank was full....this has not sounded again for over...

    Engine cutting out

Thanks for the replies. It has run fine for weeks but has started to misbehave again. Definitely hitting a pothole/rutting causes the problem but very intermittent. I previously had a P38 with a bad crank sensor...when engine cut out I got GEARBOX FAULT warning message, don't get this...

A real glutton for punishment! Now owning my seventh P38, a genuine Overfinch. Definitely the best so far. It has Overfinch performance chip, Overfinch 22" alloys, on it's fourth engine (by V8 Developments for TVR with top hat liners). Beautiful custom interior including special wood trim, rear...

    Engine cutting out

I have a 1999 genuine Overfinch P38 4.6 with BRC Sequent 56 multipoint lpg system. It has recently developed an intermittent engine cutting out problem while running on LPG. It seems to be when I hit a pothole or a very uneven piece of road at low revs the engine sometimes cuts out. The engine...
