Thanks guys. Just been to landranger in fenton. Guy there said that he doubted it was the lift pump as the lift pump was pumping on manual lever even if not enough. He said it's fuel starvation to lift pump. Lift pumps were 60 quid from there so didn't want to buy one of those if it's not...

Can someone please confirm if diesel should flow out of the bottom of the sedimenter with that bottom plug removed? Thanks

Ok fella thank you. I did try and remove the sedimenter in the Summer. That nut on the top was solid ... so that may be fun tomorrow.

Sedimentor? I took off the plug at the bottom and poked up a small screwdriver. Nothing coming out. Should fuel pour out with the plug removed?

More details please. Re sedimentor ... when i take out that small screw underneath should diesel flood out of there? Because all that happened was a dribble of 'water' trickled out?

So just go back tomorrow and try and get as much normal diesel in as poss? I may have to hire a car to go up and take my tools and some diesel cans. I wondered if I should take a lift pump in case it's that? I'll have to jump it anyway as battery dead. Don't suppose there are any friendly...

Anyone know what that will cost and what that R reg will be worth all done and with 12 months ticket? You could buy another for the 700 you get and still end up with one that needs loads of welding /work. Is the rest of the car sound?
