Shouldnt fail on this, infact quite a few of the modern cars i've tested today have the dipped beam remaining on when high beam is selected. As previously mentioned, it should only fail if the main beam stays on when dipped is selected

147k on my 73 classic. Nice original car, just had a few bits of work (all documented) over last 40 years, such as new engine, Box, been re-shelled etc!!! When I say original....... Not one of those ID swap jobbies though, I'd have bought a '72 for that and got the free road tax!
