I can check both ends to where they enter chassis at each end so if its inside chassis can't get to it. How do I check with meter ?

the red on the driverside should be connected to the red black at rear that works tail lamps . Sorry which Red do you mean ?

Which Red on drivers side? There is no reds coming out at rear.
