well, I too had a rumage in the engine bay today. I found that there is a vacum pump by the throttle linkage and followed the vacum pipes and found a 'T' piece connector that had shed one of the vacum pipes (the one which goes into the bulkhead infront the driver), reconnectted that, but still...
