There are hundreds of decent silver alloys about cheap as chips , just do yourself a huge favor and put yours up for swaps for a silver set . Loads of folks want your type wheels and in my opinion they look way way better than plain silver ;)

no just for the edc fly by wire type pump , (which i prefer faster response at the pedal) my auto disco pulls a LOT faster than my manual disco . loads of manual disco's about id just buy a complete disco tbh , save agro and time .

Why ? for fuel economy ? or . The auto for me is fantastic off road and on , no ache in the leg stop start stop start .so much less effort required its great :)

I think the 300tdi would suit you fine , check the engine isnt chuffing round the back of the bulkhead area ( head gasket signs) check the fluids , there pretty bomb proof tbh , if you can tackle the rust issues then i think youll be fine with one , very cheap motors now with hundreds of spares...

And your right the edc auto's dont have them , you can simply pull a fuse , you loose central locking and the fllashing landy with the key in it :)

I just weigh em in , and buy another in the £7-800 range hope to get a couple of years out of it :)
