Hi all, P38 tailgate button not responding. rear doors/fuel access working okay so I don't think it's a fuse. Could be something I've done while locking/unlocking but I've been through the handbook and I don't think that's it so... Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance, Geoff

Earthing the terminal leads is a good tip, thanks for that and yeah, get the EKA code out, in fact, get it tattooed to the back of your hand for quick reference in the future!:) D

I've done it on my 2.5 DSE and only had to reset the windows. That involves winding them up and down once or twice that's all. I'm not suggesting a reset will definitely clear it but it's a start. D

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and counting to 5? Then re-connect. Make the reconnection firm so there's no arcing. You'll have to reset the windows but this would be my first action. All the best, D

Hi all, Does anybody have an opinion about whether or not it is worth getting a 2.5 BMW DSE with 92,000 miles on the clock chipped? I'm thinking about getting an 'Alive Tuning' upgrade. Or should I spend the dosh on a Faultmaster? I value your thoughts... Ta D
