My power steering was very notchy when I tried to turn the steering wheel without the the vehicle moving So I thought the pump was knackered but Ryan suggested adding more fluid! Although it was only just under the maximum line it still took another 200ml of fluid to take it upto the maximum...

Hi all I have a problem with my power steering on my 300tdi where it is very tight and notchy when I try and turn the steering without moving? But as soon as I start moving its fine at any speed! I cannot see any leaks and the fluid is topped up, so could it just be a worn pump or can anybody...

I have spent £1300 in the last 2 months and they have been spot on every time!
