GDM, If its any good to you i ran my Tdi 300 for 2 weeks on & off with no front prop', just put the diff' into the left position H' and your diff light should appear on your dash, otherwise you won't budge. good luck Bemmy

Na, checked regularly think seal has just popped back, long grass had somehow wrapped around prop, and it started leaking. but thanks for advice Bemmy

hello matt, Still havent got that flange & pinion changed yet, it stopped leaking when i got your old one, sod's law!! i'm sure itll start again sometime soon. all the best Bemmy

Davo26, Mine still has a stud extractor (easy out my ar*e) stuck in, which snapped off when trying to extract the M8 bolt which snapped when i tried to extract the Pinion. So i'm either going to 1) cut a groove into the 3 bolt flange,(i have a replacement) which should release the pinion...

James, Thanks for your speedy reply, the leak is where the pipe connects (via a male & Female screw type coupling) onto the filter housing. Where does this oil come from james is it engine oil? Many thanks Bemmy

Hi guy's, Having a right drama with my oil pipe coupling,where the oil pipe goes into the coupling which is attached to a sump type container, i've just changed the Oil seal, which is the reccomended one, but its still ****ing out oil, i'm looking at getting a new coupling and metal washer...

I'm sure its the oil sump that the pipe goes into, Disccool think youre right, i've orded 2 new O'rings (one spare) so hopefully this will sort it?? Thanks for replies, sorry for late reply Bemmy
