    still baffled by front window on classic not operating although can hear a click when operating switch fitted switch panel in securely one discreet self tapper you can do this on old trucks fitted a small Made In Britain cast badge on top of ash tray well it never gets used for that so ok

    had another look at switches the two that work drivers front and passenger rear work in any configuration of swapping round switches when you operate switch for front passenger window you can hear a click so assume power is getting as far as window mechanism from there im baffled and seeking advice

    tested kenlowe fan driving in traffic in Brighton certainly dropped engine temp down a bit

    glue ing more bits of trim together preserving rubbers till new ones sourced another polish 4 th this week but thats to help my shoulder not cos i got ocd

    short journeys under three miles no good as engine needs to warm up to swap over mine i start in the yard for couple of minutes then drive about 1.5 miles then it changes to gas from cold probably two miles before gas took over longer journeys like i do its good 27 years old my truck goes longer...

    to run a big v8 lpg is the only way mine came already converted just had to get my head round finding the lpg outlets but that is easy and now its just second nature

    today refitted missing bolt holding throttle body on to bracket fitted new outlet pipe to air filter housing as original trumpet style piece long gone awol polished the Range Rover Classic for third time in a week cos i got shoulder injury and its good therapy

    lpg at 72 pence a litre my range rover classic is cheaper to run than my little vitara was without lpg i wouldnt be able to run it came with the conversion little sceptical on day one but as i live with it its great on the wallet

    usual epoxy glue sticking the odd bit of trim back bit of touch up black paint on tow bar oh and looked at it as usual

    my 1987 range rover classic 3.5 litre efi is my daily driver and always will be the lpg conversion makes it affordable dont see many around but i love the v8 burble, the fact it is different and still going strong ( at the moment )

    more polishing more strong epoxy glue holding little bits together love every day with this monster retired ? get a classic you ll never be bored or nowt to do

    took advantage of good weather full wax polish old beast now looks half decent discreetly glued in side indicators painted inside exhaust exit ( yeah odd but effective )

    fitted two cable clips round petrol filter adding to the one already in place touch up paint here n there drove it usual grin on my face

    finished off side exit exhaust looks more scooby now than range rover classic

    fitted exhaust heat shield over side exit exhaust outlet on bodywork lower panel in ready ness for 4 inch pipe due any day now that beast is going to grumble

    finished wiring on cb radio install topped up clutch reservoir giving me a firmer pedal and as usual looked at it and drove it

    thats some project a few months in on mine but a rolling project used daily runs on lpg that helps cost wise just love everything about it even though needed parts to get it running from day one of ownership the v8 burble is priceless mine is 1987

    new fluid bit of pumping job done easier than i was expecting ( this time ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
