Have slept in my 'inproper' MINI on a few occassions - back seats with both front seats tipped forwards works okay. Have slept in the Landy, laid my legs across the rear bench and was upright against the door. But then I'll sleep anywhere.... providing I have Nurofen for the impending back...

As above.... it 'should' enable the cruise control. Reality will likely be that it turns on a little orange LED, and does feck all else :p

I dunno mate - have twin underslungs in place of the standard 95 litre petrol tank - but they was fitted when new 11 years ago and such info has unfortunately long since vanished!

Hit 191 miles today on a single filling of gas (a new record) :p .... and she's not out yet! Getting a better range every time I run her dry :D

The simple requirement is to keep the ignition system in good nick when running LPG, you don't need any fancy products. LPG burns hotter (and slower) than petrol, so you should ideally fit colder plugs to compensate. I fitted NGK in mine as have always got on well with 'em, and get them cheap...

We did have a problem with our old MG ZT with the 2.5 litre KV6 engine fitted... not sure if the engine is the same in the Freelander, would suspect so. If you remove the large plastic engine cover (remove oil filler first), on the left hand side under where the cover was are three breather...

Has it been properly serviced? Not just main dealer service intervals, but proper maintenance? How old are the oils, filters etc etc? Perhaps get a proper health check on it done, and then consider a remap... modern turbo diesels are prime for mapping, choose a reputable company, and get it...

+ fone the highways agency to get the diesel mopped up! Could be lethal to a biker having 80 litres of derv on the black stuff.... As above I'd be tempted to get a jerry can of derv, pour a bit in and turn on the ignition and see where its coming out!

Is the cream section actually leather? If so use Meguires Rich Leather and a microfibre cloth. If it's not leather (vinyl) use Meguires Trim Detailer....and a microfibre. It may look like leather, but most manufacturers skimp slightly and only put leather on the seat facings etc, and use a...
