    Scratching my head, received my Synergy 2a with pierburg MAF and fitted today, both error codes are still return once cleared and MAF readings are the same as before.     Thanks Teddy and dfossil, exactly what I was looking for. Lowbank not sure who your question is directed to but the cradle I received from totalparts is a Bearmach one and seems to be same pattern as original LR one.

    I'd agree with most parts but just a metal plate doesn't warrant it, especially as at that price I can buy 6 times and I can't see it rotting any worse than the genuine one

    At the bottom of this page tuning-diesels.com/75Zt/R75maf.htm are the figures I went by. On the project car my readings were pretty much identical to the very faulty MAF. My other one rather oddly was 514 at idle with lower figures throughout the rev range.

    Before changing the driveshaft thought i'd take it to the local indie to have a quick check, turns out the banging is from the exhaust hitting the engine. Rubber jammed in as a quick bodge, will have a look at the engine mounts to try for the proper fix.
