hello all,just recently had new bushes fitted which i hoped would remedy the chirping noise when travelling over uneven road surfaces,but this irritating noise still persists.can anyone suggest which other parts i may need to replace?

no,i think its gonna be chirpy chirp rather expensive!!

thanks for the advice datatech,maybe try that although it is just a niggle that i can live with,unlike the annoying squeaking coming from the suspension(i think?).had new poly bushes fitted but made no difference at all.:confused:

im just wondering if there is a reset proceedure like with the windows?

yes,the open book symbol.all the blowers etc seem to be working ok.

hello all. would the battery being disconnected cause this fault to appear?just had a new alternator fitted and when i went to start it up it was reading lots of faults which seem to have all reset,except this one.:(

it is a constant high pitched buzz,but i wiil take the card off and have a look.cheers guys

i think any second hand motor is a huge gamble,just depends how many£1 coins you are prepared to gamble with.i just recently picked up a 4.6 hse 1996(with private plate)123000k, some history,and a couple of squeeks & rattles here & there for under £1500.

would any of you guys know which connector at the rear of head unit is for the passenger side speakers?

i got a online quote from budget for £540 for my 1996 4.6 hse(third party fire & theft with a 3000 miles limit,im 42 with 7yr NCB) when i phoned up to buy the policy they came up with £1068????:eek::eek::eek: managed to get insured with flux for half that price:)
