I always thought the pod style lights (500960) were officially "driving lights" so would only come on with the full beam. the facelifted freelander fog lights are the ones mounted flush with the bumper just to the outside of your pods - these only come on when ignition on, side lights are on...

the ones I have are marked 2003-1 western europe, the other 2006-1 western europe though this has 4 discs with it so it must cover the other countries in a lot more detail than the early one. I don't think they updated the maps for the freelander after 2006 - you may find a becker/navteq one...

Have got the full set of western europe 2006 discs if anyone needs copies - guess you'd only want the england disc if you've got a petrol freelander. Note they are not just map updates but a newer version of the program too so it reinstalls and recalibrates etc - only mention this as don't know...

Don't pay too much for the nudge bars - a place that deals in liquidated stock had 500 to shift recently - numbers are VUB501330 (grey) and VUB503760 (black). The grey one matches the undershield but if you have a black motor the black one will probably look better. Make sure you like them...
