    just another thought check wiring connecters located behind kick panel on the drivers side there are 2 or 3 which have a habit of filling up with water after water runs down the loom from bulkhead underneath expansion tank and corroding badly had this before on a p38 with strange leccy issues...

    i second that! information sourced from 2 independent garages and 2 different mot testers confirmed. vosa updates paperwork shown to me whilst i was there cant get anymore proof than that!

    a p38 fitted with hid headlamps will not fail the mot. as it has self leveling suspension (unless it has a crappy coil spring conversion) and headlamp wipers. mine had hid lamps fitted when i bought it yes you get bulb failure warnings but you get used to it!
