starter motoer is covered in oil, also the oil is quiet thin too?

starter makes that horrible noise when turn the key and have to turn it 2 or 3 times to get it to start, was hoping to kill to birds with 1 stone if can stop the oil lol there aint that much in there but there is some!

which breather m8? how i know if she breathin heavy?

also where the hose joins the inlet manifold its the wrong size hose and doesnt fit very well and jubilee clip fcked so oil drips onto starter motor, hence oil on live cable where it connects, would this be reason for starter motor playing up you think?

hi is there suposed to be oil in the inlet manifold? the pipe that goes from there to the intercooler top has oil in it! if this not right, then what the cause and the way to rectify? regards Paul

how does a gasket or exhaust prob create a pysical ticking noise? im no mechanic and have a very irratating ticking noise but cant see how manifold gasket etc can make noise?

i have an 1987 90 and tonite the drivers side front light has stop working, have checked fuse an ok, high beam works ok just main beam not working. do i need to get whole unit bulb or you think could be sumet else as high beam works??

hey, my 200 tdi conversion engine is ticking and dont know where its comining from, it does it when im going along and if i put in neutral while going along and hold accelerator steady you can still hear it!! though what confuses me is if i put it in gear and take foot off accelerator i can...

garge done the work and dont think they done that good a job and wont get much sense if take back, they prob used what was there before! you think that the prob then sean? is it much of a job to put right?
