I thought current thinking went old landy + galvy chassis = £8,000+ :rolleyes: seems to be the story on ebay anyways :D and I wish there was still a bare steel option for chassis saved a few bob, and IF well treated from new should outlast the owner!

mine gets to the quarter tank and stops, never any lower

cost is not the factor just I have the bulkhead and might aswell use it I know it will take some mods and hopefully get it galvanised to make it last, I presume it will be a later type as would have been the ones flogged off at end of td5 run, I suppose the only real way will be to get on with it :D

this approach would be problematic to business when newly qualified employees can no longer drive a works vehicles
