did mine not long ago. its just a small spade connector on baqck of alternator (W).

it definately a breather. bung it up if youre wading deep otherwise no problem. if you bung it up remove it every so often to allow s**t it come out if youre bunging up the timing breather then you might wanna do the clutch housing with one. they are both the same size

SOunds like the belt tensioner is F***ed. the bearing in them went on mine. Might also be the water pump bearing if it is leaking. Get a new belt....
