The Disco is going to be scrapped, that is why I was thinking of chopping to get access. I have a 2 ton shop crane for lifting or might ask my farmer mate to bring his tractor round with the digger bucket on the front.

I am about to take the engine and auto box out of my D1 but don't want to split them (leave a good joint alone). I have seen photos of the ridiculous angles and heights you need to use to do this. My theory is to cut the front panel out and lift the whole thing through the front. Will it work?

I was going to ask about colours, I had my plans all set. Firenze red and black roof and wheels, maybe bonnet. Seems they are all turning up in 'my' colour scheme!! Re-thinking!!

Went for Flo Flex full kit inc bumps and anti roll in the end.

Is the rear anti roll bar the same diameter for Discovery 1 as 110? I have two sets of poly bushes for rear anti roll bar, the 110 bushes are bigger and there is a four bolt pattern for the clamp and the Disco clamp only has two bolts???

i have got to the point where I am going to drop the drive train out of the Disco and prep it for the 110. Should I polybush now? Where is the best place to bet a 'full' kit (inc bumps)? Cheers

If they have changed a few times, which guru can advise on slings to suit a 1988 110 station wagon being converted to a 1998 Discovery 300Tdi based automatic???

I am sure there are loads of standard springs around with all the lift kits fitted. Want a clean set in good condition. Thanks.
