Series 3 SWB truckcab in the Netherlands

@Stretch: It has a Dutch registration so I only need an APK. @tomhop: I don't know which brand my new loom is but it has no labels. For me connecting it was pretty straightforward. Al the wire colours are correct and with a multimeter and the schema from the Land Rover manual it is not that...

Series 3 SWB truckcab in the Netherlands

Bought myself a nice project. An 1974 SWB truckcab. The guy I bought it from had some personal trouble and had to get rid of it. So, lucky form me, I think I got a good deal. Plan is to first get it all functional and safe, get it trough the Dutch MOT and on the road again. When I bought it...

I doubt the RDW has seen this. Can't imagine they'd allow something like this. But yes I really want a SWB series 2a or 3 so it you see one, a link is much appreciated. Checking another one out tomorrow.

Sanana series 3 1978, or not?

Ok, I had a good look at it. It also has a series 2 engine in it, number 151xxxxx. So, body and engine are series 2. The way the chassis number is on the chassis raises my eyebrows though. It's a welded plate on the left front of the chassis. There is another part just behind the plate which...

Sanana series 3 1978, or not?

Tail lights are indeed Santana originals. Far as I know the early santanas are similar to the Land Rovers built in Solihull except for the lights, roof and rear door. I asked the seller a bunch of questions, see what he answers. Seems like a nice car though..

Sanana series 3 1978, or not?

Thanks. So it seems my suspicions are valid. I will try and see if the seller will give me the VIN so i can try to find out why he claims it's 1978. May it because of what Stretch said, ex military. If it is indeed a 2a I want it even more!
