The becm is under the drivers seat and you will find the over ride loom plugged into it, it's no big deal to remove and will be very clear when you look at it.

PS don't forget to remove the eas over ride loom from under the driver seat!

I paid £520 from ecp but obviously check all other avenues first, as Wammers says diagnostic is the way to go.

Mine was a lot like that till I replaced the FIP that transformed it completely.
