Yes people do know better than the designers...thats why cars are face lifted all the time...to keep up with trends set by modders....then there is the other side of it...do you think the designers made a good job of the P38? and should be left totally alone...if thats the case then everytime...

Just bout a second had set of 22s, 30 profile on the tyre, so im not sure what the profile would have to be on a 19" rim to make the rolling radius accetable.

But say if my spare has a diameter that plus or minus 3 cm of the other wheels, would it damage the diffs ect if i had to use it.

So what kind of difference in diamater whould i get away with...1cm, 3 cm?

Seems the guys on here that go on about 22s being like pimps and drug dealers...all drive about in camoflarge LRs cos they think theyre in a battle zone. lol. Bet they have replica rifels and go paintballing to. Matching Combat Jackets and utility belts. lol. Got to laugh at em!!!!

I just managed to by a set of used 22" alloys ( good condition) with three average condition tyres ( 6-7mm) and one bad tyre (side wall puncture ) for less than £250.

But is it just us Brits that think this way?
