    Check the oil level in the gearbox, low oil = strange shifting, no kickdown, no torque converter lock up, many strange things happen with low oil level:( simple things first;)

    Changed my diesol filter out a few weeks ago, turned engine over a few times with foot to floor, after about 5 turns she kicked right in, didn't disconnect anything else, didn't bleed it, nothin... had less than quarter tank! also did my leak off pipes which might have made a difference, before...

    eiretyres.com Have been buying from these guys for awhile, pretty good prices compared to locals! They also have ratings done on most high end tyres. i was going with the scorpions as that's what's on mine now but the Grabber UHP seems to have better grip in all conditions and slightly cheaper:)

    seems that the smell is only there when i change gear lever, it's an automatic, could it be my clutch that the smell is coming from? big job? or (hopefully!!!) that the level is just down in the gearbox and needs topping up...

    strange you say that, i had only just filled up at a service station that i've never used! only since then have i had the smell whenever i drive, never before...then again it cld be the missis:hysterically_laughinice!!!
