Cheers fellas, yeh ill try tightening the hub first as ive got a proper boy spanner now as aposed to a hammer and chisel I used last time :D if not then ill try a shim. As for the welding, im not sure weather to just plate over the hole or buy the body mount bracket and weld it on as the hole is...

Well FAILED and dont even get me started on the council MOT station. It needs welded just before the o/s rear body mount,at the junction between the rear arch and inner and outer sill. Where:(:( to start? Oh and the front wheel bearing has too much play.

Will do :-) its in at 12 so will c and post back on here. Its amazing how u start to panic with a landy at MOT time. Last week , had it all under control :-S

Evnin. Have my MOT booked for tomorrow, but as always with landy's u fix one thing, then another fault appears. My speedo became intermitant today , now not rising at all. All other gauges fine. Also rear wiper and washer dont work. So is any of these an MOT failure? Oh and the reverse light...

Just be wary of the two streams of cash flow in discovery ownership. Parts that you need and parts you want. :-) so double running costs .

What is it that makes these headlamps so easy to nick, are they just a push fit or something?

Hehe a know, except not much oily/watery stuff left in there, it has been rolling down the street for the past two weeks :-) I know I need to do the other one as is coroded but not leaking sa may wait till after mot as still got welding to get done.

Right , so I'm a bit thick...ok very thick. So by that then if oil is ok for the bearings then one shot should be more than up to it?

oh right, its just I have packed the swivel and wheel bearings in 1 shot Grease so wondered will it take it or is one shot not thick enough even though it is shock resistant and supplies the swivel bearings
