Cheers trax99 I was fearing I needed heat , but just in case it was just a matter of taking load off it or something simple I was missing .

Could it be binding brakes, as I used have that with an old sierra and was nearly impossible to drive and would explain the engine being tip top but unable to pull.

So by that I just need a bigger hammer ? :0)

Evnin folks, as per title , fitted steering guard today all was going well till I got to the steering box bolt, I eventually got the nut off using a 5 ft. ( no joke) breaker bar ans began to do the same to remove the bolt but it seems to be very tight in , I even resorted to my precision...

Still none the wiser there is three lots of wires all with different connector plugs at the ends. Running into the space beside power steering from behind the n/s headlight. Could have had spots I supose, but no sign of mounting for them. Plot thickens.

Looks good cam , I've got tge steering guard and roof bar lights coming this week, snorkel will need to wait . Need to get welding done before I spend more on toys :0)

Definately tge best landy colour with beige interior, better with leather though but that will need to wait for now . cam, it wasn't tge one on gumtree with the roof bars in fife was it ? I was going to look at that if it was :0)

Oh forgot to say , yes was going to try the ford then remembered what it was like tge last time I took my my motorbike through there a few years back , deeper than it looks eh?

Yip green disco 300tdi , just git it about a week and half ago, mods and fixes have started already. :0)
