I would recommend General Grabber AT2 - 255 55 18 - All terain tyres - or General Grabber UHP - a more road biased tyre- Both are good on tracks, Brilliant in snow - and no extra noise on road. However I think you should consider changing to 16 inch wheels. I did because I found that 18" wheels...

I took the air springs off my LSE and replaced with coils. Never regretted it - better ride and far less trouble on coils

Keep the V8 and get the backfire sorted. Change ignition leads, spark plugs - get the system serviced. I have two V8's both with Gas (one sequential - one single point. Never get a backfire

With an 80 litre tank you should get 64 litre fill. on my 4.2 LSE that would take me approximately 200 miles (average driving). As said the only way to calculate is to let the tank run dry - refill - and drive until empty again. LPG guages only give an approximation but if you zero the trip...

Check the easy things first. Symptoms point exactly to air in the hydraulic system. Bleed the brakes from the bleed nipples at the calipers. 90% this will be the problem

If you are getting wind noise I agree that most probably the glass is not seating properly. Try repositioning by undoing the four screws under the glass - and check that the rubber seal is seating properly. I (I think) have solved the same problem as yours by sealing between the roof and...

I'm getting 160 - 180 miles on a 62 litre fill (80 litre tank) in the discovery II 4.0 using sequential BRC system. Normally get 200 miles on the RR Classic with 75 litre fill (single point system)
