So, after checking the cards and dancing around the fire I came to the conclusion that you are talking about your front axle. There it is pretty common that the swivel ball sealing is bad. That is no big deal to fix but mostly there is a second sealing gone inside the axle that prevents hat oil...

It i a landy thing, it is allowed to squeak if it wants to, diskussing which parts are possibly squeaking would take for ever. lube it with anything and listen, you get a solution for no money. And the angle between shock and axle is different when you raise the suspension.
