If you`d bolt those wheels to the axles (if still available) then your suspension would work much better!

I did the clutch twice and always slid the box backwards. I didn`t want to bother with all the wiring and tubing on the engine. Lifting the box with Heavy duty Truck belts between the chassis rails and moving it back and forward with ratchet power did the job.

Sometimes its a bit easier to help if you give us some informations Got electric sunroofs? Problems only in heavy rain? And as mentioned before, batterie, the DII is a bit sensitiv if it goes to low voltage and the earth connections are a common prob on these cars.

Steering is never funny! Call me a sissy but I had a broken steering twice and that isn`t funny!

Give it a go with WD40, spray it on the damper(or shock absorber) bushes and listen if there is a change. No solution but it will guid you.

Did you chck the connections to the batterie? what is the voltage? how old is the Batt.?

Did a little search on the german board, they are talking about 14 to 20 l/100km, Maximum 35, Minimum 11,5. I`d like to have a V8 as well bt atm not possible

What I learned from different Board 18-24 l/100km is normal for the V8 Engine. You might get better mileage if yo have a light foot. A proper service will help too.

No need of changing the gearing, they will not fit

I took the whole thing apart a month ago and got rid of all the wafers. Then reassembled everything and it is better then new since. Easy lob, took 20 minutes while whatching TV

Where did you buy that new link from? Quality isn`t everywhere the same. Had the same thing with mine, new link built in and everything ok. Also no light on the dash.

Don`t worry about the price you paid, if it is in a good condition, why not. They are cheaper in GB as you mentioned, price seams ok.
