aye, I wouldn't checkerplate the rear especially if your putting a pooch in, likely to break something we the poor bugger slides when you go round a roundabout.

using a hi-lift or similar jack, jack up from the rear crossmember (same side as dislocated spring)

I had a couple of leaks that seem to come from the forefront of the footwells, armed with a hose I found that it was coming in from both bulkhead vent seals.
Easy job and new pair cost about £11!

totally agree, we went when a festival was on..bit of a mistake.
Probably ok otherwise, we moved on to the woodbridge inn just down the road..
nice big open space by a lake, nice people, clean toilets and hot showers and opposite the plain.

Went into the job all cocky with me new bolts and because the bracket fits on to the inner chassis rails and has a "lip" bit it seems to get in the way of the strenthening plates of the bumper..
back to square one...

I've just bought a winch bumper (standard non-aircon type)and after sitting it down in front of the 90, I think I may have issues fitting it.
My steering guard bolts to the inner edge of the chassis members (using the lashing points and a bolt that holds part of the steering assembly...
burn it!
Just kidding, its quite nice and far better looking than those bumperette things,
shame it wouldn't fit if you have a swing away wheel carrier
