    Replacing Serpentine Belt - 4.6 2001

Have to agree with the above - especially about the 15mm spanner. Don't try and undo any bolts on the tensioner as the pulley gets rather noisy and needs to be replaced if you do . Only down side is that it can be a little fiddly to get the belt around all pulleys, particularly between...

    Fuel protest 2011

Thats what happened in Ireland. I had a 1989 RR Vogue SE which I converted to LPG at a cost of c. £1,800. Petrol was c. 80p & gas was around 35p. In less than a year gas was 55p while petrol had gone to 85p. It was no longer economical to use gas (read - lost my shirt on the conversion )...

P38 steering pulls to the left

Wammers, Thanks for the reply. I centralised the steering box and went through the drill with the laser alignment guy prior to his final set up. Their computer was set up for almost not toe out, while the Rave recommends between 0.15 & 0.5 deg. It's currently at c. 0.5 deg, and the steering...

P38 steering pulls to the left

I know this thread is a little old at this stage, but I wanted to just provide some experience. I had the same problem of pulling to the left - the car failed the NCT (National Car Test - Ireland) with a pull of 19m/km. This was after getting the local tyre place to do laser alignment. Went...

Hello all, New to the forum, but not new to Land Rovers. Five Range Rovers and two Series IIIs later - still haven't seen sense!!!! Anyway, hope to learn more and provide some of the information I have learned over the years. Regards, Ken
