Cheers mate, that's just what I needed!

Anyone here have an idea of the maximum performance and power you can get from a 200tdi with a lot of tuning? With things like a VNT trubo, better exhaust, tuned pump, bigger IC etc etc? Doubt I'm going to do anything this radical but it's just something I've been wondering. Cheers!

My mistake, its end of the arm the castle nut's on. However, the drop arm retaining nut is supposed to have one of them giant washers under it which you wack with a hammer to make it fold round the nut to hold it securely. Have you got one of these nuts on?

Well it's supposed to have a castleated nut and a split pin that goes through it and a through a hole in the output shaft, I'm guessing you have haven't bothered with this which is why it keeps coming off!

That's all the stuff I'm after! It's a tad pricey though damnit! I may just go without the lamps then and get normal spot lamps instead. I might try and get one of those bumpers made up by a fabricator. Any other makers of them bumpers?

Anyone know what them spot lights are called which have a dip and main beam function? I'd quite fancy some on my bull bars. Any good? Anyone also know of any decent tubular A-frame non-winch bumpers? Cheers!

I had the exact same problem, and yeah the drop arm is an absolute biastard to get off! I realized it'd be far easier and reliable to get a recon'd steering box. So I did.

Bit off topic, well sort of anyway, anyone got measurements of the A-pillar mount off a southdown snorkel? I've got a southdown wing moulding to keep everything nice and tidy but could do with a more precise bracket. Anyone got a tape handy? Cheers!

Will it get to 4500 revs or does it feel restricted like theres a rev limiter?

With the wastegate actuator, they're stiff as **** to move by hand, but it can be done, just get 2 hands on it or some pliers and push back as hard as poss, it should move!

Yeah that's what I meant, should have made more of a point of taking the LOW power one that activates the relay, I'm not mental!

I took my feed from just after the dim/dip switch, it's the blue and white one as I recall.

Try checking the heater hoses first mate, one of mine had a leak not so long ago which started off as barely noticeable until the point where it would **** out most of the coolant at once!

Get some longer bolts for the bumper?

Fair enough, the earth strap going to the alternator probably just has some crap on it in that case then. I shall clean!

Would a dodgey earth be able to make it smoke then?

Just changed my duff starter motor for a lovely barely used bosch one. This was on saturday which I then drove round and it worked fine until I came to start it this morning. It gave about half a turn then stopped.I gave it a few more tries which followed with smoke coming from tranny tunnel...
