My tachometer/rev counter on my N reg Discovery ES 300tdi has developed a life of its own, sometimes working, then nothing, then works for a short time when the auto box changes gear then nothing. Also my battery light sometimes faintly glows. Changed the battery a couple of days ago, but still...

It appears that all springs are in place , shall continue fettling with it till it works or i break it! Cheers for advice and shall report back if it starts playing my Barry Manilow Greatest Hits CD.

No branding on it, i 'm guessing its the original factory fitted. Taken apart and there was not one but two discs jammed, but still not releasing the cartridge, flash of green on pressing the eject button then nowt! Am i expecting to much from a 10 year old cd player?!

Its now given up the ghost completly! Press the eject button, flashes green for an instant , then nothing. Any other thoughts? Cheers!

Just bought my first landy (N reg Tdi Disco ES) this weekend! But can't seem to get the CD multichanger to work. Before I take it to be repaired I just thought I would check to see if it's something simple. Basically it keeps saying there is a cd error and won't play and the cd cartridge...
