you are NOT removing any pins in the UJ - the bolt holding it in is after the UJ and bolts into the vcu - the UJ comes off complete with the prop - stick yer head underneath and you'll see the bolt inbetween the UJ and vcu. Did a mates at work today over the pit - took all of 15 mins:) page...

the keyhole in the rear door dosen't open it, it's only a switch to wind up the rear window:)

having just come from under my FL i can confirm around 30 mins to remove the rear prop - vcu and front prop still in place:) 1 - jack up 1 side of car clearing both wheels from ground 2 - use axle stands - you don't wanna get squashed 3 - remove 4 bolts from rear flange at differential...

mine was registered on 08/10/1997 and it has a turbo:)

if you're just after selling and need the best price then source your own IRD and VCU, there are usually a few used ones about on fleabay - then if you know a cheap mechanic it should help to get a bit of dosh back. My mates w reg DI has just done the same coming back from france, the VCU had...

There is only one thing for this job Autoglym Bumper Care - looks like green snot in a white bottle, apply using a clean cloth. I did mine at the weekend and they now look showroom new:D dosen't rub off on yer clothes etc and is waterproof too.

I run a Garmin Zumo (goes on my bike too) and you can input your own route via your pc so using a landranger map and a pc you can route all yer green lanes - i bet ya tom tom can't do that, had an original tomtom go when they first came out tho but moved to garmin cos i need it on me bike :D
