Thanks,the tyres are all new on,i never noticed the warm issue on the old michelins,[could be me being paranoid]will keep an eye on the wear.on another forum it said to up the psi from normal-ie-35,that seems a bit ott to me---Dave

yes its all 4 tyres,not hot just warm,do you up the psi on yours or these set to normal pressures.as long as its nowt to worry about----Dave

Hello,have just put some new grabberAT tyres on my freelander,and after doing about 50miles in the car yesterday i noticed that the tyres were quite warm,tyre pressure is set to 30psi,will i need to up the psi because of the chunky tread or would it be advisable to have the 4 wheel tracking...

you need to take your pivot lever off[both sides] and lubricate them,they are the problem,i had exactly the same problem with mine,i replaced the old pivots with new ones as the existing ones where seized solid.you may have to replace if the brakes keep sticking on,mine used to make a hell of a...

Just fitted the BMW crankcase breather part on mine,come complete with new seals,been told you can more or less forget about it now as it has no filters-just a wipe out now and then.worth the £40 plus i paid. Dave

you might want to remove the drums and check the handbrake pivots that apply your shoes onto the drums,i done mine because they were seized up[even after been to a LR dealer for repair twice.] best if you buy new pivot device's and fit them as once they start sticking it leads to all sorts of...
