    which springs?

As I said speak to Craddocks they seem to have good rep. I've had no problems in the past with them. If you wanted a lift I would say speak to Gwyn Lewis 4x4 as he is top and lift parts out there are copies of his stuff. I don't think he keeps standard height springs in. But might be worth...

    lift kit

I would speak to Gwyn Lewis at GwynLewis4x4 Most kits and parts in the market are copies of his stuff. However question is do you really want a lift or do you need more articulation. Lift gives better approach, departure and breakover. But a lot of kits come with standard shocks and +50mm...

Fitting Wrap Around Nudge Bar VUB501770

I would have thought you just remove the bolts that secure the front bumper and then align the Nudge bar and drop bolts back through and torque them up. Most that I have seen just sit on top of the bumper. They have an L bracket with two holes which line up with the bumper bolts.

    Squealing alternator belt

You might have used the wrong belt. Also had loads of problems with 3rd party belts poor quality. Also check out the tensionerbearing goes. Also alternator bearing If your putting wd40 on the belt and it goes then logic says belt or belt alignment.

    spotlights

Roo lights, LightForce are best IMHO. But you could just get some Wipac and some silicon to help seal them. My cheap Ring ones have been fine though after using silicon. Water would run down the cable into the housing and short the bulb.

    Mountain Bike Racks and Defenders

That's why I have a 110. Bike goes inside with Wheels still on. Plus when doing the 12-24 hour events I sleep inside as well. If I did get a rack I would look at the tow bar mounting ones that have a shelve that the wheels sit on. I wouldn't get the wheel mount ones as it is just going to...

    Defender Roof Bars

With my roof bars you would have no hope off getting into the garage. I think bar would drop to next position down but then you start loosing the space below to be able to tie down. You would also have to cut the supports down. I guess it would add about 3" from the roof. Your other option...

steering wheel What make? size? help!

13" seems very small to me. Been looking at new wheel myself. You need to check how many splines you have 36 or 48 for the boss. I am thinking 14" or 15" as I have been told from a number of people that 13" is just to small. I guess it is subjective but a lot to spend to find you just don't...

    Spot lights - 55W or 100W?

To power them I would:- You will need 2 relays power to them I would take straight from the alternator. Earth use a to screw in the edge of the wing after rubbing down to metal. Then run power to the lights up inside a snorkel if you have one just like they do with the G4 vehicles. Or feed...

    Spot lights - 55W or 100W?

I think a better idea is 2 55w driving lamps and 2 55w fog lamps on the roof bar. That way you get a better spread of light. Also wire them in switch banks of 2. Then you can control wether all 4 are on or just 2 depending on the situation.

    lift kit

If your off planning an expedition then keep everything standard. If something breaks in the middle of how knows where how you going get it fixed. That said you may need heavy duty springs to maintain your ride height with the extra weight on board. These will give the impression of a lift when...

    eas laptop help

All the USB to serial adapters I have seen need a driver. Not used one on Vista. Have you got another serial device you could test the adapter with. I had problems with not all serial devices working with the cheaper adapters.

    snorkel

What are you guys using to waterproof your joints. I was told to avoid silicon sealents as with movement the seal breaks free from the plastic. Just like when you rub it to clean it off. Was told to get calking or something that doesn't set firm.

Any recommendations for heavy duty 110 springs?

Another option is to get a removable tow hitch. Not the Dixon Bates type but the ones that have a socket and take different adapters. Useful ofroad as you can have one with recovery point or NAS hitch on it.

Any recommendations for heavy duty 110 springs?

Not a lot to work with here. Harsh ride with standard heavy duty springs could be due to standard shocks running at near full length plus no weight it back. If you are only needing heavy duty on and off the air based helper springs might be an option. Or adjustable shocks. Why the gain 6"...

    what intercooler?

I wouldn't have thought you will achieve much without a bigger intercooler. More fuel needs more O2 for combustion. To little O2 you will get black smoke from exhaust which is unburt fuel. Bigger intercooler cools the air more making in denser therefore contains more O2. Which is carried...
