    Bio Deisel in the Midlands

Never heard that of Palmers and know people who have used it for years. Biggest prob is people not changing filters often enough and also as we go into winter running 100% bio not the best move. In winter 50/50 has seen me right. Apart from once when I didn't start mixing soon enough and...

    Overland Scandinavia

When I went to Norway never made it to far North. However a lot of there roads I found on the maps where no more than a gravel forest road here in the UK. Wash board corners to make you squirm if taken to fast and start sliding to the big drop at the side. Can't wait to get back and go North...

I would have thought as long as the load and speed ratings are also ok don't see why not. Best to ask a tyre fitter

    Hand winches

Hi-Lift is very hard work as you have limited pull before have to re-adjust. Better getting 2nd hand Tirfor or a Black Rat but don't get one of the cheapy no brand ones.

    Cooking oil in TD5

I have heard of people getting problems with the injectors having run veg oil or bio. I would have a good search on a number of the forums around. Mud-Club has a bio fuels section.

    viscous fan

I've never had a problem getting to fan off if the belt is on. spanner and sharp blow from the hammer is all it takes. If the belt has gone then you need to hold the pulley and a long screwdriver usually does the job. As for running with no fan it a case of takes your chance. You have to think...

    Bio Deisel in the Midlands

    Bio Deisel in the Midlands

Andy did you make your own processor or buy one. Also are you finding it harder to get oil supplies now the prices has gone up. I did have plans for my own until hot water cylinder was nicked and then haven't had time to source another one or to think about building it. (Had chimney to build...

The one in Halesowen I think used to be called Greener Fuels it is on Shelah Rd B63 and they are down near the junction with Hayseech Rd in by the Burger Van. My mate said the last lot he had from them couple of weeks back was 75ppl. They are only open Mon-Fri 8-4 I think.

    Bio Deisel in the Midlands

Take a look on BlackCountryLaners there was a thread on there that listed a few places and also look at mud-club. I think both threads are a bit out o date but I had put a few up. Palmers is ok but expensive when you find out what others charge. They buy from another place in Halesowen who...

    Mudflaps - 90 vs 110

    Bull bar

The real problem with Bull bars was that every Chelsea Tractor had to have one fitted. Add to that half the vans as well. I can see no valid reason for a Bull bar for a vehicle that is only every used in town or on well maintained highways. In the same way as rock/tree sliders are there...
