hi p38penguin, you must be right because this was a proper DVLA reg, i was looking at it to buy it as it was a very clean motor i wonder why he let it go for £1800? it looked more than that to me.

hi nickpen, i just checked back on ebay and he sold it for £1800 it was a really good looking motor, but he said he thinks it was sent abroad from new and then came back ? i know strange thing happen but at the price of a new p38 wouldnt you order a left hooker to go abroad?,anyway its gone now...

someone on ebay is selling a p38 dse saying its a 1999my, but the reg on the pictures say its a p-plate, i emailed him asking if it was a 1999my or a 1996. he replied the log book says 1999 but the reg is on a p-plate thats a 3 yr difference (give or take) any ideas :confused:

a couple of months ago i changed the water pump and thermostat, i already had a new genuine pump but i could only get an after market stat, now ive noticed a bit to much pressure in the hoses,so today stuck a genuine stat in, on comparissen the genuine stat has a much bigger opening (when open)...
