    going to try to get a cap tomorrow did a short run in the car today returned home had a look under the bonnet at no time did the temp move from middle water was evident around header tank area and had lost about half a litre. Hope LL keep them in stock

    No wet carpet first thing i checked and the viscous fan really shifts some air even at tick over will replace the cap and keep my eye on it. The temp gauge quickly gets to the middle and does not move from there

    Just returned from a 10 mile drive along dual carriage way and country lanes parked up left idling no problem at all temp gauge never moved from centre. car runs as sweet as on LPG. not sure what to do maybe a faulty expansion tank cap?

    Thought all was going so well with my 2002 4.6 came home from work today and saw water around the osf wheel popped the bonnet to see water header tank empty!:eek: which i had only checked 2 days ago. refilled with 5litres!!!!! of oat+water removed air and left to tick over now the temp gauge...

    Need help with air conditioning.

    I had a similiar problem on a mondeo it would work at idle ok but once aboce 2k stopped workin turned out the clutch on the compressor had worn and needed reshimming this needs to be done before the coil in the clutch burns out, Easily done as access on rr is easy.
