hi craig from what ive read its the spring thats broke/missing ive seen them on ebay at £4.50

ok gary thanks for reply i will give it a spray 2mrw,but i think its the spring because when the door is open i lift the catch with a screwdriver and the outer handle releases it (if you know what i mean ) the lock mechanism inside the door looks complicated bars little white clips etc is it...

i had a problem on the wifes bmw dodgey barrel just phone a locksmith,he told me 9 out of ten times they can fix it,ok you will need new shear bolts but thats cheaper than a new ignition barrel,he charged about £70 and NO stress, hope this helps ;)

hi ive done a search on here but still not sure,when i try to open the rear door/tailgate the little knob inside goes down so it wont open could there be a spring missing ? theres nothing in the bottom of the door,i climbed in the back lifted the knob and pulled the lever to open it,ive just...
