    like the guys said better to get a tdi i put a 300 in my 110 and now it dosn't cause tailbacks anymore and still reasonable mpg

    Tipper seem to remember having to grind off the end of the crankshaft and changing the spigot bush for a series 3 one also use series clutch, plate maybe this will jog someone else's memory who has done this conversion... cheers muskrat

    Hi again your cv joints will usually clunk on full lock if worn badly and if you chock your wheels release your handbrake and rotate your propshafts by hand to check for play in the uj's at each end of the shaft.

    jack up the axle and turn the wheels by hand and have a listen, rock each wheel forward and back this will show up the wear in each cv joint....whilst there check for play in the swivels and wheel bearings and uj s on the front prop ....good luck

    most probably cv joints but just check your tyres are not rubbing against your suspension arms on full lock, apologies in advance if i have stated the obvious!

    Hi, you could have some heavy duty hoops made with provision to mount a roof tent above and then fit a three quarter canvas to keep your kit dry, these canvas hood are usually much cheaper than full hood and look good too.
