Hi there, did the new socket solve your problem. i can't get my p38 to talk to my eas unlock. but i have continuity checked from after the obd2 to the 9 pin connection. i am using a usb adaptor though which i can't test.

Did you get sorted. Mine was showing pp when i was trying to connect earlier. my obd plug on the RR was crudded up. needed some wd40. but now all i get is 28 and 80 codes. it won't initialize

Sounds like mine when oil was leaking into the cylinders through the head gasket and valve stem seals. It used to run like it was missing and if you reved it you would get a cloud of blue. if you held the revs the blue would clear after about a minuet at 1800 revs.

Flexi hoses!!!!! I had an issue with mine diving to the left under breaking. A real hand full if you had to break hard. Mine was doing this! It was a combo of the head gasket and valve stem seats. Most of the valve stem seals had fallen apart with age and the head gasket was leaking oil into one of the cylinders. A quck overhall of the head and she was like new again!!

No its still on bags, the pipe number is 11. All the other pipes are 6 or 8mm there is only one 4mm one. I will try and take a pic tomorrow if needs be. I have tried to find diagrams of the system but i can't find a detailed enough one which shows where the 4mm line goes.
