Is this a new wheel bearing job?

There is a bodge you can do where you remove the large spring inside the new seal and cut the seal with a junior hacksaw to get it round the swivel ball --- do a search and your find it ... only a temp fix till you've got more time to do the job proper

Ok I'm a knob ... should of explained that my brakes were like that when I first got my Disco when it was totally standard, I was hoping it was the old flexi hoses ballooning but after doing the suspension lift etc and fitting new stainless hoses after the initial bleeding it was still the same...

    help ... 33's and gearing

I'm going to buy some new tyres for my Disco 1 and I'm 90% sure they are going to be Maxxis buckshot mudders 285/75/16's (metric equiv to 33's) because of the price and usability on road and the good reviews I've read about them for offroad .... I commute 50 motorway miles and was wondering what...

    twin battery set up

Had similar probs with mine .. When I bought my Disco the seller did say it'll probably need a new battery, so when it started to struggle to start I went out and got a new 1, couldn't use a bigger CCA one as it wouldn't physically fit because of the air con pipes . As I wasn't using my Disco...

    My Disco project

Cheers W.L I've actually got a set of Mickey Thompson 35's but I don't want to cut the arches and from what I've been reading they won't be much good for long runs because you loose your 5th gear (unless you can say otherwise) I commute 60 miles a day and 50 of them are on the motorway that's...
