4.6 HSE, 1995, 12 months MOT, 6 months tax, Essex, £1800 (offers welcome)

Hi Nigel, The V5 shows 10 former keepers. In terms of history, I have MOT certificates back to 1998 and a number of receipts dating back to 1997, initially from Land Rover, the more recent being from independent garages. I have all receipts from any work I've had professionally done. The...

Bought her in 2011, was my daily driver for 2 years, bought an L322 last year and decided to keep the P38 as a possible off-road project. After a year SORN in my garage, I never got around to doing anything with it, so have decided to sell. Click to view album of high-res images Just got her...

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

Just call me crazy, there's something about Landy's and Alfa's that does it for me! Anyway.. just got the absolutely genuine part from LandRoverSparesUK on eBay and it actually came with an invoice, with all my details on, from a Land Rover dealership in Duckworth. So it's 100% legit, and...

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

Gotta admit, the £36 one from LandRoverSparesUK on eBay does look genuine, has Land Rover on the box and BMW on the part, which makes sense. Have ordered one, let's hope it does the trick. Guess I'll be driving the wife's car today though. It's times like this I'm glad I bought her an Alfa...

I saw them, but can you be sure they're genuine and not more cheap knockoffs?

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

Thanks, I'll ring round both LR & BMW stealers on Monday (guess they'll be closed tomorrow) and get some prices. Cheers chaps. Gonna be seeking a refund from the eBay store if this part has failed!

How do you mean? BMW breakers or stealers?

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

Poop. Ok. This is the one I was originally going to get, before finding it cheaper in eBay. Silly me. Go with the Powerful UK item?

Somewhere in between, I hope.. it was this one.

Yeah, I already replaced the FSR, as mentioned in the first post. I sincerely hope it's not the brand new resistor I only fitted a few short weeks ago.

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

It's the interior fan, for sure. When the ignition is on the blowers are at max with zero control over fan speed now, all since I turned it off and back on to see where the whistle was coming from. With the ignition off it slows a bit, but not a great deal. Have disconnected the battery for...

A/C blower running after ignition off (2003 Vogue)

Hi all. When I bought this car (about 2 months ago) it had an existing problem whereby the A/C fan speed couldn't be controlled. I looked on here and found pretty quickly this was likely caused by the FSR, so I replaced it which resolved the issue - A/C fans have been working fine for two...

    Non Starter.....Oh Feck!!!

EAS - How long to repressurise?

Brilliant. I already ordered a valve-block O-ring kit from Island 4x4, which arrived yesterday...... with Britpart stamped on the box. :(

EAS - How long to repressurise?

Don't I have to take the valve block apart to get to the O-rings?

Oh and for silicone grease.. I have to go get some.. is this the stuff? Halfords Silicone Lubricant 400ml

EAS - How long to repressurise?

Ok guys, thanks for the plentiful replies :D So to recap.. push the airlines in further if poss with pressure in the system. If leak persists, should I strip down the valve block and change O-rings first, or trim the airlines first?

EAS - How long to repressurise?

I haven't done anything with the block yet.. to date I've replaced all four springs and the compressor. Valve block hasn't been touched.. I was wondering if that should be next, or the air lines.

EAS - How long to repressurise?

Ok, soapy water test finally done (the boy's been keeping us busy so only just got around to it this afternoon).. I'm getting bubbles at the valve block from both the green (front right) and black (front left) air-line outlets. Which makes sense as it always seems to go down by the nose first...

EAS - How long to repressurise?

My thinking is that it must be something which hasn't been renewed, as it's sagging at the same corner as before. So I'm thinking air line or valve block. But I'll do the soapy water test and see what turns up.
