Just tried to drain a bit of the tank out see if there was water , took about 5L out no sign of water at all, only nice clean diesel . I was thinking about something , those fuel injector cleaners, would that have any effect on the FIP at all ? Or would that only clean the injectors ?

by the way talking about that, on the paperwork it simply says land rover 200tdi engine swap so I am not entirely sure if I have a disco or defender 200tdi , if I have the exhaust manifold and turbo going up from the head then it is a defender 200tdi isn't it ?

To be honest I never let it run for more than a couple minutes , I doubt it got the chance to go up to temp. Yes the injectors were tested and declared "as good as gold"
