    Plasti Dip Opinions over Wrap

Plasti-dip can be sprayed on like regular paint, theres no reason to really strip anything just apply to whats seen.

Went and did a few lanes, make the most of the dry sunny weather, probably won't last.

Newbie - Is this handling normal ?

Sounds just like mine, 2" lift and 265/75/16's. I let my dad drive it the other day, he nearly crashed coming off a roundabout expecting it to straighten itself up. Standing water upsets mine to, but I'm used to it!

    Looking for insurance

I'm under 1500 quid, 18 and kermit's a 200tdi Edit: It does get cheaper, but the more research you do the better, often it's best to ring around the specific insurers rather than using the comparison sites thats how i got the best deal possible. I have a friend who did the same and he's 18 and...

Anybody know which 90 this fuel tank fits

Looks the same as the tank that was on "A 4x4 is born" when he builds a 100" rangie / 90 hybrid, he had to send the tank away for the filler pipe to be moved to that vertical position and the breather across.

    first defender

Defender as my first car and insurance isn't as bad as people anticipate, I would recommend it but as said above you buy all the habits it comes with. I'm considering going for a shower cap when driving.

    rover porn anyone?

I love the aggressive look. Although I'm not one for flashy interiors, wouldn't like to get everything in there covered in crap. The Line-X is mad: LINE-X Lets You Walk on Water - Waterproof a Cardboard Box with LINE-X Polyurea - YouTube

    Gateshead Warning

Paid just over 200 for my collection of devices, but i prefer knowing they'll have multiple hoops to jump through rather than just the one, not to mention the visual deterrent. But the boxes look the business, take them a while to get through it.

    Gateshead Warning

I go for disklok, clutch claw and battery isolator switch when i leave it unattended for long periods of time, often parked down side streets. I'd rather take the time having to take them off than to search for it when it goes walk about. I'm a bit further out from newcastle/gateshead but police...

Would 10k get me a nice Land Rover Discovery 3? Is high mileage ok?

My dad had a disco 3 for 3 years. Was the SE and had sat nav, leather seats, heated front seats, upgraded sound system i think? The HSE models can have a fridge I know that much. I think the S has fabric seats and aren't heated, also dusbious to if they have sat nav as well. His was one of the...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Repaired my front Warn winch free spool. The thing was completely jammed up and could only spool out using the control, however a simple fix of removing the handle cleaning out the crap that had built up and giving a good spray of WD40 and putting back together sorted it right out :clap2:
