    Temperature a bit high?

Thanks top drive, might add/upgrade more gauges later, priority was getting this working right after I bought her a few months ago, all important jobs done now, can just drive her now and then plan maintenance and upgrades in the future.

Yeh, temperature a bit low, was wondering about that, gets to 80 degrees then drops to 70 and so on...

    Temperature a bit high?

Not too expensive really as I have effectively upgraded the gauge to show degrees centigrade £46 altogether in the end... I'm happy [emoji106] [emoji3]

I got then from Simmonites Ltd. www.simmonites.com £85 for a rear pair. Close up, reasonably thin steel but do the job. My rear windows are retrofitted and the grill rests on the rubber surround. Fixings supplied are rivets, I wanted to be able to remove them to clean or maintain the rear...

    Temperature a bit high?

Steve Parkers sent me an adaptor that they had re-tapped, the captive fitting seated down on the capillary tube tip in the adaptor and this has created a seal so far. Loctite Lock n Seal on the adaptor thread as the re-thread will not be perfect. Temperature is fluctuating between 75 and 80...

Good suggestion arc, if the solution I have fails in time, I'll do that, see next post.

The side window grills have functionality, allow the sliding windows to be left open when storing the mascots in the back. But the grills do make her look more 'rugged' [emoji3] Liking the forked lightening idea...!

Someone had commented somewhere else that they are concerned they would fall off. They are well trained, so will stay, it's a matter of physics. Does any one know of a 'mascot' mounting kit, I am now getting concerned for their safety, I'm shocked I didn't think of this myself!

    Temperature a bit high?

So the saga continues. I received the mechanical, capillary gauge today, but it isn't supplied with an adaptor. I'm surprised Simon Parkers didn't supply the adaptor, I've emailed them, so see what they can do on Monday. The adaptor fitting is what I need. Although the captive fitting does...

Axle leaking oil? Check breather silly...

My rear axle has been leaking oil since I got it a few months ago, had other more pressing matters to attend to on her first though. I did replace the plastic cap on the end, the other one had marks on it. I checked the breather house, not blocked. Today I replaced the half shaft gasket, but...

    Temperature a bit high?

OK, been busy so haven't updated. After work last night checked electrics in different ways, had already run a new cable in my lunch break earlier in the day. Before giving up for the evening I decided to drain some coolant so I can try the senders with out coolant escaping, I had only tried...
